Always an experience. If you don't have time to go on vacation, you go to Mirko and family. You think you're on vacation 500 km away. Food and drink tastes like always, and thank God there is always music in the background. In addition to the fireplace, this always lifts the mood and is important for comfort.

The idea is very nice, but it takes forever to get your food, what a shame you could make more of it.

Despite Corona, everything is clear with a distance and such. Food is always delicious and everything by the beautiful fireplace.

Fully cozy - "rustic" decor - menu short, but full of delicious things (the wild boar dishes - really recommendable). A dream in the garden when the weather is good - you can spend a few hours there in comfort

Quaint location. Unfortunately only badly placed despite a table reservation with 2 large dogs. Something completely different was promised. The icing on the cake: While you were trying to enjoy the food, children began to saw wood so that you had the chips in your eyes, mouth and nose. Actually cheeky because you were also good with 70 euros. Service zero.

Very nice rustic forest tavern. Especially the stories and the schnapps on the house were a great surprise. The food was very good. Many thanks to the nice couple (regular guests) at whose table we were allowed to sit. (with a distance, of course).

Located in the middle of the forest, it is ideal for stressed-out city children to relax and is only an hour's drive from Berlin

Rustic forest restaurant with a spectacular beer garden, opening with a hunting horn, game dishes, guitar and harmonica. We thought it was lovely. You have to see it.

Very rustic. Highly recommended when the weather is nice. The range of dishes - there is no menu here - is very clear but absolutely delicious. We know that, we've been here several times. Better to reserve for the weekend.

I was here for the second time in years. We were really looking forward to the game specialties. Have ordered wild boar feast 1x with fried potatoes, 1x with potato salad for € 14.50 each (priced higher class). After waiting for more than an hour, the food arrived. Side dishes were fresh and tasty, but the meat didn't work. It was totally dry, tasteless, and burned black around the edges. It looked like it had been in the pan or on the grill for hours. After we pointed this out to the waitress and said that no one can eat, we got the answer that she was in the kitchen to let us know. We didn't get an apology or maybe a free coffee. Our conclusion - never again!

Traditional, yet extravagantly decorated location, full of historical artefacts. Very friendly staff.

After a nice hike in these beautiful surroundings, the Waldschenke is exactly the right place👍Great host who always has a lot of fun ready and the entire staff is just great🤗On the menu you will mainly find game dishes that are super delicious! At the weekend I recommend making reservations. We love being there and it always feels like a break or a vacation day, thank you very much the team!

Very neat and taken care place off-grit in the middle of nowhere. Awesome wild pig (Wildschwein). Very nice and chatty owner.
